3rd suspect charged in shooting outside Montgomery gas station

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A third suspect has been charged in connection to a shooting which happened outside of a Montgomery gas station.

According to Capt. Regina Duckett, Roderickus Brown was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with assault second degree and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or vehicle.

The shooting happened at the Circle K gas station on July 21 around 7:30 p.m. According to court documents, a victim was shot in the neck while inside a Chevrolet Camaro.

Two others, Jacquarius Foxhall and Valencia Carter, were previously taken into custody and charged.

Foxhall, who was already facing charges for a December shooting, was out of jail on a $165,000 bond when the latest incident occurred.
