Police: Victim uncooperative after shooting in West Montgomery neighborhood
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The heavy police presence overnight in West Montgomery was in response to a shooting, the department of public safety confirmed.
According to Public Safety Spokesperson Martha Earnhardt, a man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was uncooperative with officers and refused medical treatment.
A WSFA 12 News photographer located the scene of the shooting around 11 p.m. in the 4500 block of Rosa Parks Avenue at Georgena Curve.
Video from the area showed crime scene tape around one of the homes in the area.
No other details related to the shooting have been released.
