AUTAUGA COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Autauga County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding an inmate who escaped Monday afternoon.

Kevin Charles Sellers, 29, escaped from the county litter crew shortly before 2:30 p.m. and was seen getting into a maroon minivan, the sheriff's office said.

The escape happened in the area of White Pond Baptist Church at Co Rd 21 & Co Rd 49.

Sellers was last seen wearing a white shirt, black BDU pants and a Panama Jack tan hat.

Sellers is 5'10" and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His mug shot shows he wears an eyepatch over his left eye and has a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

The inmate was booked into the Autauga Metro Jail on July 12 for third-degree burglary, failure to report, failure to pay, and failure to remain in the state.

If you know where Sellers is, call the Autauga County Sheriff's Office at (334) 361-2500 or the Autauga County Sheriff's Office Secret Witness Line (334) 361-2599.
