Troy man arrested in July home burglary

TROY, AL (WSFA) - A Troy man was arrested Monday in connection to a home burglary in July.

According to Troy Police Chief Randall Barr, Jamarius Cachief Jones, 20, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for first degree burglary and first degree robbery. Jones is believed to be one of two men who entered a home in the 200 block of John M. Long Drive, armed with handguns, early in the morning July 13. Electronics and the victim's wallet were taken, but the victim was not harmed.

Jones is being held at the Pike County Jail with bonds totaling $125,000. A hold was placed on him for the Bullock County Sheriff's Department, where he has active warrants for first degree robbery and attempted murder.
