DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - A Dothan police officer rescued two kittens from beneath a car Saturday.
According to a Facebook post by the Dothan Police Department, Officer Adam Blackwell responded to a home on Shadowlawn Drive in reference to an animal services call. Once there, he learned there were two very young kittens stuck inside the engine compartment of a vehicle. They'd likely been stuck there for several days.
Blackwell removed a plastic panel beneath the vehicle and, once it was removed, he was able to free the kittens.
The kittens have been re-homed.
