MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama High School Football Athletic Association has made another announcement ahead of the upcoming football season.
Back in April, it was announced that AHSAA would be "experimenting" with instant replay over the next three years.
Now, another in-game change but for health and safety reasons. Automatic heat timeouts will be added to games this fall.
This is all part of placing a bigger emphasis on heat, Ron Ingram with AHSAA said.
The instant replay program will be used for the Champions Challenge Classic Aug. 23 and 24.
