Last suspect in custody after Millbrook armed robbery, burglary

MILLBROOK, AL (WSFA) - The last suspect in an Aug. 2 robbery in Millbrook.

According to Police Chief PK Johnson, officers responded to a robbery in progress at Belle Vue Square Apartments on Aug. 2. The officers set up a perimeter around the victim's apartment and two of the suspects attempted to escape out of the second floor window, and police say one of the suspects pointed a gun at the officers and then was fired upon.

Two suspects were quickly apprehended, while one got away. Oshai Sharief McLean, a 22-year-old Montgomery resident, and Delano Gilchrist, a 22-year-old Montgomery resident, were arrested and charged with first degree robbery and second degree burglary.

Detectives identified the third suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. The United States Marshal Service located the suspect, 23-year-old Montgomery resident Jarceon LaJames Banks, in Montgomery. He was turned over to the Millbrook Police Department and charged with first degree robbery and first degree burglary.
