MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Showers are stalling over parts of south Alabama and dissipating before reaching places such as Geneva, Houston, Dale, Henry and Barbour counties. Isolated showers are possible overnight and tomorrow morning.
We're nowhere near done with the rain yet. Tomorrow will be similar to today with numerous showers and storms across the region by the afternoon hours. Again, it won't rain on absolutely everyone, it won't rain all day, and the type of rain will range from sprinkles to strong storms. You do have a good chance of feeling some raindrops, so keep your raincoat nearby. Don't forget you can track all of this rain using the radar on your WSFA First Alert Weather App!
The silver lining in this soggy weekend forecast is more bearable temperatures. Most all of you will feel temperatures in the 70s and 80s throughout the next several days! In fact, forecast models are agreeing that by the second half of next week, not only will temperatures be lower than normal, but so will the rain chances and humidity levels.
