Motorist safe after vehicle goes into water

HOLTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - A motorist is safe after a vehicle entered the water near Blackwell's Landing in Holtville.
According to Holtville/Slapout Fire & Rescue, at around 7:30 a.m. units responded to the scene of the crash. When they arrived, they confirmed a vehicle was in the water and the motorist was out and safe.
Divers arrived and were able to float the vehicle to Blackwell's Landing, with the assistance of a HSFD boat, where it retrieved by a wrecker.
