MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A robbery suspect who is said to have sprayed a store employee with mace after being confronted has been arrested by police, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Dana Martin, 31, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a third-degree robbery charge.
The crime happened at a store in the 1600 block of Federal Drive, located near Garrett Coliseum, according to police department spokeswoman Capt. Regina Duckett.
When an employee confronted the suspect as they attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise, Duckett says the suspect discharged mace on the victim.
Martin is being held on a $60,000 bond.
