Driver ejected in fatal crash on I-65 near Prattville Saturday morning
Makeil James Gordon, 19, died when the 1999 Infiniti I30 he was driving left the road, hit the median, and overturned in opposing lanes of traffic. He was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. 

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - A Bessemer man is dead after a four-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

According to Cpl. Jesse Thornton with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, state troopers responded to the crash on Interstate 65 near the 195 mile marker, about 15 miles north of Prattville, at 3:10 a.m. Makeil James Gordon, 19, died when the 1999 Infiniti I30 he was driving left the road, hit the median, and overturned in opposing lanes of traffic. He was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Gordon's vehicle was hit by a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1999 Ford F-150 and a 2010 Chrysler Sebring while overturned. A passenger in the Infiniti, and a driver and two passengers in the Ford, were injured and transported from the scene.
