MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The pattern doesn't change much over the next few days - we expect a typical combination of heat, humidity and a few isolated, mainly afternoon storms.
Friday and Saturday will feature more of the same-- afternoon scattered showers and storms and highs in the low 90s. By Sunday, drier air will be in the area, keeping our rain chances on the lower side for the second half of the long weekend.
If you're heading to the beach this Labor Day weekend, there's a slightly higher chance of seeing rain. It shouldn't be a complete washout, but pack the rain gear along with the beach gear, just in case!
Watching the Tropics: Models continue to sniff out possible tropical development in the Gulf next week, but there remains a large spread and little confidence on anything developing. This system won't effect your Labor Day, and we'll continue to watch it closely heading into the middle of next week.
