MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - While an adult store employee fights for his life in a Montgomery hospital, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and the Montgomery Police Department are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect who pulled the trigger.

According to Capt. Regina Duckett, the robbery happened around 5:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of Birmingham Highway. CrimeStoppers later identified the business as the X-Mart adult store.

When officers arrived at the scene they found the victim, identified as an employee of the business, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police are now releasing photos of the suspect and offering a $1,000 reward for his identity and/or arrest. The suspect is currently being sought on charges of armed robbery and first-degree assault.
