DALE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Dale County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in connection to the sexual abuse of a child under 12.

According to Chief Deputy Mason Bynum, the sheriff's office was contacted on Aug. 24 by the Department of Human Resources in reference to a sexual abuse allegation. Investigators gathered information and were able to obtain a warrant for the arrest of Kent Leo Fry, 54, of Clayhatchee.

Bynum said they believe Fry has fled the area; anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the sheriff's office at 334-774-2335 or visit www.daleso.com and click on the crime tip section and leave us an anonymous tip.

The sheriff's office will be turning the warrant over to the U.S. Marshal Service's Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force.
