CAVHCS: automated prescription refill request system working again

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System says its automated prescription refill request system, which went down on Friday, is now back in operation.
Brett Robbins, CAVHCS spokesman, said it was a localized problem and that southeast regional IT personnel were working to push out an update to correct the problem.
CAVHCS sent out letters to veterans with alternative options to get their prescriptions refilled until the automated system was back online.
It is not clear what caused the system to go down.
