MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in the Tuesday night fatal shooting of George Crowder Jr.
Tavaris Brown, 19, has been arrested and charged with murder, MPD Capt. Regina Duckett says.
MPD responded to the 200 block of Eastdale Road South Tuesday night. There, they found Crowder suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
Police say initial investigation revealed Brown confronted the 19-year-old Crowder regarding a domestic incident that happened earlier in the day between Crowder and an ex-girlfriend.
Brown has been placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under a $150,000 bond. The case is still under investigation.
