A federal judge in the Middle District of Alabama unsealed an eight-count indictment Tuesday charging five individuals with sex trafficking and other related crimes.

According to the indictment, Kimani Jones, 30, Treymane Lambert, 48, and Aleecia Scott, 27, of Montgomery, are accused of using force, fraud, and coercion to make adult women perform commercial sex acts between August 2016 and November 2020. Jones is also accused of forcing/frauding/coercing two minors into commercial sex acts as well.

Joseph Keon Bowe, 37, of Notasulga, is accused of doing the same to a minor between August 2018 and March 2019.

The indictment further charges Jones with transporting a minor and an adult across state lines for prostitution in November 2016 and January 2020.

The fifth defendant, Daryle Gardner, 30, of Prattville, is charged with transporting a woman for prostitution in January 2020.

This case was investigated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Montgomery Police Department, and the Montgomery Attorney General’s Office.
