Dog the Bounty Hunter’s stepson allegedly killed son in shooting accident, reports say
(Gray News) – Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s 13-year-old grandson died Saturday after what several reports, including People, are calling an accidental shooting.
Dog’s stepson Gregory Zecca allegedly shot his teenage son at an apartment in Naples, Florida, on July 19, TMZ reported.
Authorities confirmed to TMZ that law enforcement responded to a call about a shooting at that location around 8 p.m. and called it an “isolated incident.”
“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” Dog and his wife Francie Chapman told TMZ through a representative.
No arrests have been made at this time and the family is asking for privacy.
Dog and Francie married in September 2021 after both of their previous spouses had died. According to People, they had initially bonded over grieving their spouses.
