Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) -- Alabama State University trustee Joe Reed's name was stripped from the Acadome on May 30, but many of his supporters are rallying to change that.
Reed supporters will gather at Montgomery's Community Congregational Church on Tuesday to show their alliegance to the trustee and figure out how to get his name back on the Acadome.
The ASU Trustee Board made the decision to strip Reed's name off the University's basketball arena because they felt he was portraying the school in a negative light and wasting money on friviolous lawsuits.
The rally starts at 6:30PM. WSFA 12 News will cover the event.
