Prattville school hosts robotics lab for career day
PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Robots paid a visit to Prattville Christian Academy Wednesday.
The school hosted the Alabama Technology Park's Mobile Robotics Lab. As part of career day, hundreds of PCA students got a sense of what they might want to do when they grow up in the working world. The robotics lab arrived in the form of an 18-wheeler.
"This lab houses equipment that is in most of the major industries and manufacturing facilities, so they are representations of things you might see in places like Hyundai and Hagar industries and those kinds of places," said Brigitte McCawley, Prattville Christian Academy's Academic Integrationist.
The lab was catered to students who think they might be interested in going into the field of robotics and careers in major industries.
