Lane closures expected on I-85 in Tuskegee beginning Monday

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WSFA) - Bridge repairs on Interstate 85 in Tuskegee are expected to cause road closures beginning Monday, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.

Construction will happen on I-85 South over Uphapee Creek at milepost 39.

ALDOT officials say the outside lane will be closed for safety while repairs are underway. The project is expected to take two weeks to complete.

Motorists should plan for delays and use alternate routes when available.
