Dale County assault suspect taken into custody

DALE CO., AL, (WSFA) - The Dale County Sheriff's Department confirms that the suspect wanted for assault, that occurred on Thanksgiving Day, has been taken into custody.
Joseph "Joey" Carlton Senn of Troy was arrested on Monday by the Troy Police Department on charges of first degree assault.
Sheriff's officials say that on Nov. 27, deputies responded to U.S. Highway 231 North near AL Highway 123 North in reference to an assault. Investigators discovered that one of the victims had been struck by a vehicle and was suffering from multiple broken bones and facial injuries.
A second victim was suffering from a laceration to the head where she was struck with a baseball bat.
Ariton Fire and Rescue transported the two victims to the Dale County Medical Center for treatment.
